How was the show? More importantly how was my sketch?!
Sketch comedy writers wanted Page 3
The emergency exit door sketch went down very well. It got a good strong laugh.
The audience loved Steve Sunshines sketch about the wife breaking up with her husband through work speak. I remember reading that before and I thought they made a great job of acting it.
I'm not sure which one was StephenM's sketch but let me know and I'll let you know how it did.
There was definitely a buzz from hearing complete strangers laughing at something that you have written. I could definitely get used to it.
Great night had. My wife couldn't make it so I went with a friend. Pity I don't know any good pubs around Leicester Square. We were staying in Euston and went to O'Neills around Kings Cross I think.
We were told by the barman there that there was 2 great clubs, The Lexington and something else. I think we got the directions wrong though because we ended up in some sort of construction site in the middle of nowhere.
All part of the fun.
Glad you enjoyed the show Otterfox and it would appear you're not the only one. The show was sold out and they might repeat the show in March. There's a chance yet I'll get to see it!
Mine was the i-book burning sketch. A short, snappy one. So short you, and the rest of the audience, might have missed it.

And a good review of the show here:

(It was the only review I could find so no bad reviews!)
Thanks Otterfox, glad to hear my sketch went well, I had an email from the Messrs guys and they also informed me it was a well received. Phew!
Now, I need to write some more sketches for their next show, and hopefully I'll be able to go and watch this time.
The i-book one was a lovely little sketch. The show seems quite seemless and one sketch flowed well into another. I think pretty much all the sketches were of a high standard and seemed to go down really well with the audience.
I got the mail aswell about upcoming shows. Must try and write some more stuff and hope its good.
There's an extra showing of this on Saturday and I've got a ticket so finally going to get a chance to see my sketch.
Otterfox - what were your sketches? Want to know which ones to look out for!
(Will also keep an eye out for Emergency Door and Work Speak break up)
Hey Stephen. My sketches are bank advert, chairworld and Tom Gossip(about a guy who keeps saying words beginning with 'f' when asked why his friend is late) enjoy the show Steve. Let us know how you get on.
What a great little show that was! Loved it thought it was really well crafted together and, most importantly, really funny! Always much better getting your stuff on amongst other stuff that makes you laugh.
Congrats to all the guys who got stuff on - all good sketches. My favourite was the Apprentice one which I think was written by one of the directors.
