We were out as a family on Saturday and we'd been to a family restaurant for a meal. Just as we were reversing the car out of the car park I noticed a cute little girl aged about 2 in a pretty dress laughing in the park.
Now get this. I felt that I had to justify that I wasn't some kind of weirdo before I said I thought she was cute and this was to MY OWN WIFE! We have three children of our own so we obviously know each other pretty well but I hate how I'm made to feel like this just because of the handful sick weirdos there are in the world.
I raised my kids on my own from the time they were 1 and 2 years old. On more than one occasion a woman would walk up and ask if they were allowed to be with "that man."
