Radio Rejects-writing opportunity Page 8

A writer who always understands why there are being rejected, there's a novelty, perhaps we should have you stuffed...

Not always but I've definitely written some terrible sketches so it's not surprising that they got rejected. I just need to learn to identify them before I send them off, preferably before I write them.

Is anyone going along on Wednesday?

Unless everything goes horribly wrong at work on Wednesday afternoon, I'll be there.

I'm planning to go :)

Don't think I can make it as I'm gigging in Guildford but I've got a couple of sketches being performed, would love to know what people think.

:)

Which ones are they?

One is the "Bond Villain helpline" which people might remember from this very forum (or it could be "Bond Villain interview", I sent both and they've not specified which it is) and the other is called "Bomb disposal officer".

I'll be wearing a pink carnation on my blazer; if anyone spots me, feel free to say hi.

Are you going Don?

Don or not, I'm going. Probably.

Are you going Don?

I'm certainly tempted, Steve, so it's a 'probably' at the moment, can't say for sure until the day.

No, because I'm coming to see your gig!

They are doing two of mine: Moon Landings and Surgical Abandonment. If one of you lovely people could tell me how they went I shall inform everyone of how good a stand-up Tony is! :)

Dan

If Don's going then I will defintely be there.

Well That's not much of incentive.
I already know how good Tony is.
He told me. ;)
:D

Well done to all those who have stuff in. Nothing for me this time :(

Can't make tonight sadly, so if anyone could let me know how 'Paxman's Fluffer' goes I'd be grateful.

I'm about to escape work, find some grub and head towards the show. I'll be the fat beardy bloke in a red Order of the Stick t-shirt.
