Radio Rejects-writing opportunity Page 6

I'm planning to go and should have some things in.

I might have something in but can't go.

I think my pirate sketch is in tonight. I'd really like to go but it depends on the trains. It took me six and a half bloody hours to get back home last night.

Affect/effect???

Dan

I got an email last week saying something of mine was on the shortlist :D but I haven't heard anything since :(

I went last night - a good show. It's well performed so is a great chance to get your rejected sketches in front of an audience and work out where improvements might bring them up to broadcast standard (as well as reassurance that they are indeed funny when done by good actors!)

A strong list of writers as well ;)

From kind member feedback, I believe I had a sketch on but haven't had official confirmation.

Once again, I couldn't make it.

But I will endeavour to get there for the February show.

I think I had a sketch pencilled in. Facebook Street perhaps? Or Wedding DJ Hero?

I have now had official confirmation that a sketch of mine was used and went down well (Newsjack reject). It's not a 10 year deal with the BBC comedy department but as it's the first time that any of my stuff has been used, I'm chuffed :D

Nice one. Well done, Will!

Dan

Well done, Will!

Thanks Dan, Thanks RJ.

Well done Will.

I had stuff in too but I was away.

Laughing out loud Cheers Soot (I missed your edit the first time I read this).

Well done to you too Steve. As requested, here is the link to the sketch I sent off which was used. It was a Newsjack reject that I trimmed slightly. I have left the original at the top and added the Radio Rejects version at the bottom in purple.
