Life Of Riley - Series 3 Page 3

Yeap. You was wrong.

Slightly premature to say that after only 7 minutes, particularly given the wavering quality from episode to episode in the past.

Nevertheless; fairly similar stuff to Series 2 on the whole. I laughed a few times, there were some good jokes and some really corny ones. I enjoyed it.

I couldn't waste the remaining 23 minutes on it mate.

When I'm on my death bed I didn't want to be thinking what I could done with that time.

Harsh? Maybe.

Glad you enjoyed it.

My daughter still knows the teenage boy. She still don't fancy him which is a relief.

So what did you do with that 23 minutes, bigfella?

Had a spot of sex.

You're getting quite feisty this week, bigfella. Aggressiveness on the boards. Drunkeness. Sexual boasting. I'm intrigued to see what's next!

Fights?

The drunkeness is a once every 5 years event. I'll buy a six pack of beer in the summer to have with a BBQ and then I'll drink the last one on Christmas day.

Last night's The Crimson Petal and the White was a terrific example of what the BBC can do at its best. Anyone who failed to be impressed by it is a complete dimwit moron. On BBC One at the same time was Life of Riley.

Was Caroline Quentin's mouth still as sexy as ever? She does that Gordon Brown thing........which is definitely not sexy on an uptight Scottish man but is on a MILFy woman.

Watching Caroline Quentin's performance in Life of Riley made me feel like Paul Merton - I wanted to divorce her and get her rid from my life.

I like it. I really like it.

:S

In series 1 the over acting was shocking. Odd, because I've seen her put in some brilliant performances in other stuff.

For masochistic reasons of my own, just watched the first ten minutes of episode 1...

Will someone please explain the laughter? I mean, what's with all the relentless laughter at lines which you can actually hear clunk on the floor as soon as they've left the dry, cracked lips of the soul-less humanoids who've agreed to speak them in exchange for monies? Do they fill Life Of Riley audience seats exclusively with people who've - that very day - been giving the 'all clear' from cancer and who are so relieved that they'll laugh at pretty much anything?

I don't think you're their target audience Tim.

And that's from someone who's never forced themselves to watch any of it.

(That means that I've never watched it by the way, and not that I've watched it without being forced to.)

Hope that has helped.
Huh?

No, presumably it's for a "family audience". Which family exactly? Dr & Mrs Goebbels and their kids? The Mansons?

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha...

:(
