The Simpsons

Bizarrely, there was no official thread for the greatest ever sitcom, but there is now.

The Adventures of Ned Flanders segment is perhaps my most favourite bit in the entire run of The Simpsons.

Lemon of Troy, of course, is my favourite episode.

Milhouse and Moe are my two favourite non-main characters.

My favourite peripheral character is wiseguy/sarcastic man.

Comic Book Guy?

Oh, Nil, you're showing your Simpson's ignorance now!

It's this fellow:

He's had lots of little roles where he just makes a smart quip.

Ah. :D

Milhouse and Ralph Wiggum for me.

You can't beat your Wiggum - "I bent my Wookie"

Laughing out loud

Can't pin down a favourite episode, but the scene in Brush With Greatness where Homer gets stuck in the water slide is among my favourite clips.

"What's it called, fatty, A Fridge Too Far?"

I like Bumblebee Man & Uter too. :D

Homer The Heretic is my favourite episode.

Homer The Heretic is my favourite episode.

Mine too. As I think we said on another non-Simpsons thread.

"Lisa, this is neither the time nor the place."

The Simpsons should have been cancelled about 5 years ago. Maybe earlier than that. When did they go to London ? Since then.

Hank Scorpio episode is one of my faves!

Homer The Heretic is probably in my top 5.

Patty and Selma Bouvier are brilliant, as is Skinner.

One of my fave eps was the chilli-eating one when Homer starts hallucinating.

TBH I've found the last couple of series to be a bit laboured, and 'laff-lite'. But it is a classic.

It's been a bit cack for a while, hasn't it? Probably should have ended a decade ago, but it was obvioulsy amazing in the nineties.
