Any comedians people don't get the fuss over Page 5

This is pretty much just a list of current comedians I don't enjoy:

Russell Howard
Russell Brand
Michael McIntyre
Lee Evans
Andy Parsons
Peter Kay
Chris Addison

There and more, I'm sure.

Angry

I did my bloody dissertation on Jacques Tati!

Were there many laughs?

Peter Kay is a terrible standup but an inspired actor/director.

I'll give you the rest, but I quite enjoyed Addison's Civilisation, and even Lab Rats was a valiant failure.

Lee Evans has done some good stuff, check out his weird as a stoned monkey's arse epic, Funny Bones

But he's just an actor in that.

Did we watch the same film? His silent version of music hall classics made the film.

He's still an actor in that, I thought this thread was about comedians and their own acts. I'm sure his physical clowning in the film was great.

I'd say he was always more a clown who spoke, than a standup.

Which is why I suspect he ain't all that as a standup.

I like the Lee Evans Trio. But only that.

Well you're right there, his material is shit. His physical performace is obviously very good, but the material he's gibbering certainly isn't.

I had to Google that, very impressive, he's always good at the physical clowning; though I couldn't help but think of the invisible drum kit bit Rowan atkinson used to do live.

Lee Evans haters make Aaron sad.

I don't hate Lee Evans, I just don't find him very funny.

HATER.
