Yeah I understand that, but when I do see him, I get the odd feeling that something's happened to take his love for it all away. Even Whitehouse seems to have a little bit the same way, to me. Maybe it's just me.

Yes I took that into account, but for me it wasn't his best work and in the first series I thought he looked like his heart wasn't in it. Certainly not the same boisterous Harry Enfield of earlier times imo. And he used to pop up in a lot of other stuff, do interviews etc.

He's an old man now, man! He must be knocking on for for late 40s.
