Torchwood... Page 53

Yes.

Better but still a lot of padding to string it out to ten eps. Thought the 'we say crisps you say chips' bit probably was pushing the linguistic differences between the UK and US a bit too much or is Gwen really that thick?

Agreed. Better pace and structure this week, and a smidge more plot, but still feels woolly. And would the American public really take a murderous paedophile to its heart quite so quickly?

Did anyone else get annoyed by the five second reference to the Souless and the fact they came out of nowhere.

Also I was a bit confused by the fact Rex was in a pill factory containing millions of painkillers which he even held in his hand, yet he still went to the doctor to get some. That is unless I am not watchign the way the writers intended and he was really there just for sex.

I can't even muster the enthusiasm to start ripping holes in this.

He went there to get his wound dressed didn't he? (And sex.)

In Children of Earth didn't the black girl wear the fancy contacts? Yet in this episode Gwen said only she could wear them because they were "biomorphically" tuned to her.

Maybe they are different ones.

Or she wants to hog the fun toys.

When she said that Jack wrote "liar" on the lens and she had to close the laptop quickly so Rex didnt see. So yes, she is hogging all the fun toys.

Zooo: He needed a highly qualified doctor just to dress a wound? I would say sex.

Bit of both!
Seeing as he did faint, I don't think it was 100% about getting a shag.

Not familiar with the fainting tactic then Zoo?

I doubt he is. Too annoyingly 'manly'.

Yeah which is why Jack saying, "Ohhh that face, Rex dosen't like his jokes to gay." was probably the funniest part of the episode.

Did Jack write that in response to the biomorphic point or another point? I can't remember now although I thought the conversation had moved on a bit? Maybe. It's Torchwood so I doubt I'll rewatch to find out. ;)

I missed the whole middle. Will have to watch again.
