Quote: Nil Putters @ July 9 2009, 10:22 PM BSTNo. Superman Returns. Reboot. Different actor same role.
And shit, I think we can agree on that.
They couldn't really have Christopher Reeve could they? TV reboots are different to film reboots.

Quote: Fred Sunshine @ July 9 2009, 10:20 PM BSTI think that's how they'll end it.
All will seem lost, the children taken by the aliens. Jack will be slightly dead. And then we'll hear the familiar sound of the Tardis.
David Tennant pops his head out, gives one of those big cheesy grins, hold up his sonic screwdriver and says "I reversed the polarity with this, everything should be fine now"
No, I reckon it will be Davros, coming in and saying:
"Oi, bugger off you lot, these are MINE, muhahahahaha!"

You know what I mean!
I just feel there going in a different direction. And to be fair they've killed off team members before with no talk of 'reboots'.

Quote: Aaron @ July 9 2009, 10:17 PM BSTWhat's a "reboot"?
There's a new series of Torchwood. It's a 5-part episode-a-night one-week serial, not a traditional x-episode weekly series. It is awesome.
Agreed. This is the best thing I've seen on telly in aaaaages. And I've got to go out tomorrow night to a workmates leaving do. Stoopid friends... *kicks ground*
Quote: Aaron @ July 9 2009, 10:19 PM BSTIanto.

You can watch it on BBC iPlayer if you don't have a recorder.
I missed the first episode & watched it on BBC iPlayer, just before the second ep on Tuesday.
F**king hell indeed. Wow who'd have thought crappy old Torchwood would be the best thing on telly by far.
Can Sara Jane and K9 save the world?
Aaagghh I am actually slightly scared of paedo-alien-snot monsters now.
Ratings have gone up again for the second day in a row; now up to 6.2 million! That is pretty amazing going I think, and this can only be seen as a big success. I'm now going to finally watch day three and four.

Bussell and Stott always make me think of Ianto and Jack.
