Watched the whole thing, obviously not a sitcom aimed at me, but I can see that it would probably appeal to some people. I found it very odd though that there were these separate groups of characters who didn't interact with each other; why was that? It just fealt like an odd decision.
Inn Mates Page 7
There was something about it that didn't feel quite right for me - but it was more this episode specifically I think rather than anything about the characters or their dynamic that could be changed for a series.
Gonna watch this now, it's on catchup.
It's got the young chap from The Great Outdoors in it I see.
Not my cup of tea but it's more aimed at a young audience.
I felt it was more light entertainment than situation comedy.
Hope it does well though.
I thought the one playing Peter was the best actor, though the others were good too
I always like Joe Tracini. And I rather liked the character Blue, too.
My first thought is that it lacked the 'vision thing'. It reminded me of a lot of BBC3 shows without having a clear identity of its own. The characters didn't leap out at me and I'm hard pressed to recall any dialogue. That said, it was a damn sight better paced than Grandma's House.

Do I remember something about the show being rewritten to fit the BBC3 demographic?
10 minutes in and I can't say I've laughed out loud.
And that bloody song is getting on my tits.

It did feel a bit synthetic. Like the writer was trying to write something he thought stood the best chance of selling, rather than out of any great passion for the material.

yes, but I like Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps which is for a young audience.
Congrats to jdubya for getting a pilot made and shown, but it wasn't for me.
Bit odd that TWO of the male characters ended up naked and humiliated at the end. Still, nothing wrong with Warburton exploring his sub/dom fantasies on prime time!
And he makes that nice bread.
