I've been to Lyme Regis loads, it wasn't as pretty as that! I need to look harder.

Enjoyed the last one. Seaside-wise the "enjoy the Ingerlund scenery" factor was good and the "buy on premise/anorak loser" pub scene was a positive as well. They could crank oot another few next summer and I wouldn't complain.

An entertaining show, totally made by Mark Heap.

Ruth Jones said in a radio interview that the last episode was only filmed three weeks prior to broadcast.

Wasted opportunity, all-round. There were moments of inspiration - not quite greatness, but certainly funny - but so much felt unnecessarily slow and tedious. Even within the confines inherent to the setting and subject matter, it could have been much funnier.

Ultimately, it did manage to keep me watching for all 90 minutes, but I didn't come away feeling satisfied or in any way amused. Just did nothing for me.

I'm getting the same impression having watched the first two. I really like Mark Heap's and Steve Edge's characters. I'm a massive Ruth Jones fan but think there is too little to like about her character.

A couple of great lines surrounded by more laboured comedy.

I'm happy to report that Radio Times has published my complimentary letter in next week's issue.

Any news on a follow up? Thought it was an excellent little show.

I'd love a second (full) series. It really grew on me after a slow start.

Mark Heap & Katherine Parkinson are excellent in just about everything they do.

Much as I like Katherine Parkinsom I think she's over-exposing herself.

You'd bloody love that.

She hasn't been on anything recently though, has she?

Katherine Parkinson hasn't been on much recently. She was only in a few bits of The Old Guys, and I think I read that she's not going back to Doc Martin. So, The IT Crowd is her only recurring role I can think of.

Over expose herself....... :)

And, anyway.......why not strike why the iron's hot? Acting is a fickle business.

Wasn't she in a Malteasers advert as well?

That doesn't count, surely! :)
