I agree. I laughed out loud a fair few times.

Woohoo! Go us!
Gently amused... shall stick with it.
I'm going to stick up for this too... I thought it was great! Laughed a lot when Tom (Steve Edge) ran down the hill to kick the stragglers.

That was my highlight as well
I didn't think it was amazing but if it stays at this standard I'll at least stick with it.
I think it was a laugh-a-minute, personally. I think those who didn't like it should give it another go on iPlayer. I've seen it twice and loved it both times. Can't wait for the second episode. I hope it gets a DVD release.
Balls, forgot it was on tonight. Hopefully it'll be on iPlayer later this tonight.

I suspect it'll have a big audience drop off. I'm afraid I couldn't be bothered with it tonight.
A couple of entertaining bits, but again thoroughly underwhelming. Almost fell asleep, in fact.
I enjoyed it again, still not convinced about the young girl though.
A strange one. As Aaron said a couple of really funny bits - especially with Mark Heap.
I like Katherine Parkinson but she's in everything.
I wouldn't have gone so far as "really funny", but it's definitely patchy, in that it has some good stuff amidst a lot of dullness.
Just watched it on iPlayer. It seems I was watching it live so watched the last 15 minutes. Now I'm watching the first half.
I'm with the gently-amusing subgroup. I like Heap (channeling Roy Cropper?) and Jones and enjoyed the countryside. Wouldn't surprise me to see this developed into a longer series or two, because as a Canadian I can easily see this selling to BBC Canada/America, US public TV and smaller cable stations specialising in Anglophilic offerings. And the Beeb do love them overseas sales.
I liked this weeks effort. Again, gentle humour not belly laughing but we all said that about Rev didn't we and every one was giving postives on that.
As Chappers says KP is very good - strange the 17 year old boy isn't leaping on the opportunity. Let's face it, most 17 year olds would go with anything that moved.
