Okay, so after some salmon made me really sick yesterday I have given up fish also too. Hope you're happy Nat!

Poor Ellie! Sick and busy.

Oh woe is me.

Laughing out loud

It's not funny. I was puking and everything. :(

Aw! Sorry, being sick not funny. *pat*

But your veggie exploits are a bit. You should do a 'my veggie month' blog.

Do that. You pimp my blog, I'll pimp yours. I'm not popular enough yet.

Today I tried carrot chutney with wensleydale cheese. It was very tasty however, I keep finding salad in my teeth. :(

That's about as exciting as it's got.

I did check to see if diet coke had anything meaty in it... just in case.

Diet Coke is an iffy one. They use some part of some animal in the refining process. But it's such a small scale I think 00000000.1% or something.

That's what you get for turning your back on meat. Karma.

:O I was joking. :( Now I'm sad.

There are some awesome veggie food websites where you can put in a type of food like fizzy pops etc and it will give you a list of all the veggie friendly brands. Can't think of any of the top of my head but I know they exist.

I had sardines for the first time yesterday. They were ok, but a bit dry - perhaps because they were tinned. I wouldn't mind living off mostly fish, but don't you have to be careful of high mercury levels?

Best not to judge fish in general from any experience with tins. We have a little fisherman's hut on the beach here, where they sell whatever they happened to have caught that morning. I barbecued some mackerel I had from them which was to die for; and only £1.30 each. They're £4 in ASDA!

It was far removed from tinned fish.

Bit like tuna steaks and tinned tuna, innit?

Absolutely, although since they don't catch tuna in Brighton, I can't get it fresh and cheap from the hut.
