They. Are. Horrid. Pleased

A-levels are the most stressful exams I've ever done. Degrees are a breeze in comparison.

Degrees are a piece of piss. Although I did only get a 2:2. :(

I completely agree. I tried my best to get a 2:2 but somehow ended with a 2:1. :$

My mum did a 3 year degree in a year, and got a first, apparently not knowing how. In reality, she's a smart arse! :P

Otherwise known as the drinkers degree!

I have one degree and I'm doing another combined one via Open uni. I is smarts.

I was talking to a final year student recently. He was £7k in the red and had no idea or plan how he would repay his student loan.

I found this a bit disconcerting as he was working towards a degree in Economics. Huh?

How did you get your job, Paul?
Are you one of those jammy bastards who is awesome at interviews or something?

I am pretty good at interviews, I was later told I was such a good bullshitter the woman interviewing me (now my equal) was impressed and part of the reason I got the job.

All the people I know who earn the most have few or no qualifications. I think they actually put a lot of employers off. What they've done is go for jobs that aren't hugely glamorous and stuck at them. Saying that the people I know who have the most rewarding and/or enjoyable jobs do have good qualifications.

That as well, my experience stems from shitty customer service jobs and working at a call centre for a year.

I could make a joke about the fact that she might be good at something else but that's a bit vulgar so I'll be quiet.

Experience is more important than grades. You can have a first but if you haven't got the experience to back it up, you can still find yourself on jobseekers.
