Not Going Out - Series 4 Page 6

I've seen the trailer two or three times on TV this week.

I haven't noticed any.

Those new little boxes up there are good aren't they. In this case it reminds me to possibly watch another channel at that time, as I don't quite get the fuss about this show, it's not bad no, it is funny yes, but I think it's Lee Mack's style I really don't like, most of all. He's just not a sitcom actor (nor is Tim Vine).

He suits stand-up and panel shows, I find him very funny, but I think it's a poor reflection on the state of British sitcoms that such a flat and one dimensional sitcom such as this, with hardly a redeeming moment in the acting, is getting a (fairly rare) fourth series. :O IMO! Well done to it for achieving it and being popular, of course, but will infinitely better made sitcoms such as Rev reach a fourth series? Is it the budget factor that determines the run of a show now?

Happy New Year to everyone btw. Wave

I think the acting NGO is pretty good.

Happy New Year.

Hello! Here are the trailers, for anyone who's not seen them yet....

And Lee was on the Steve Wright show this afternoon.

Thank you, Koolski!

No problem :)

No replies half an hour after it's finished, doesn't seem good. I never saw it so I don't know.

Any thoughts on the episode?

I really enjoyed it. Makes it even harder to see why it was cancelled.

I quite enjoyed it, but this episode felt a bit like Not Going Out amateur hour. The recent trend seems to be that comedy shows improve as the series progresses, so you never know...

Great start although I felt the use of the nail gun was a bit over the top and didn't seem like a NGO thing.

Was a bit weird that they seemed to have killed Ricky Grover.
But overall, it was great!

That was the only bit that didn't work for me, other than that I am so pleased it's finally back! Very funny! My dad was in stitches. Still the most laugh out loud sitcom on TV. Great little Lee and Tim adventure this week, which are always fun.

"It's all kicking off in Narnia!"

Agreed, this cheered me up after a shitty day, I forgot how good it was! Best comedy on TV right now I reckons.
