Finger

INT. BEDROOM - DAY

A woman wakes up on the bed looking dazed and in pain. She has a moment to focus herself and then looks at her hand. One of her fingers has been cut off and there is blood all over the bed. The trail of blood leads out of the room. She screams and cautiously follows the trail of blood.

The trail goes down the stairs, and the woman continues to follow, whimpering and squeezing her hand to stem to blood flow.

The trail goes into the kitchen. The woman peers around the door. Her missing finger is in the middle of the floor in a pool of blood. She hurriedly goes in and picks it up. There is a fancy ring on the finger.

A man steps out from the shadows with a bunch of flowers and blood on his shirt.

MAN
What do you say sweetie? Will you marry me?
