Do you call yourself a writer? Page 8

"Failed/failing writer", "wannabe writer", "writer manque", and every discussion of this topic with anyone ends up with me using the phrase "it probably won't come to much, but I might as well give it a stab".

:)

If you don't, it'll stab you! :)

I'm holding back telling people, mainly because I like to show not tell (like you should in your charecter development :P ) in other words people will find out im a writer for themselves when they see me working for the BBC Cool

As a commissionaire?

I prefer to call myself a song and dance man.

Bdm tch!

As soon as I achieve a credit, I will call myself a writer. Until then, I'm a......I actually don't know. Perhaps an occasional admin person. Sounds shit, I know.

Newsrevue?

It depends who I'm talking too. If I'm with a new website client, I'm not a writer! With family and friends I'm a website developer that writes on the side. With writing pals I'm a writer and website developer. If one of my websites break - I'm a full-time writer!
