THE SITCOM COMPETITION

Not sure if this will be popular or even work. But wtf, I'm bored!

Let's not take anything away from The Sitcom Project. This isn't a collaboration, this is a competition, grrr!!

Battle of the Sitcoms?

Now I can barely write my own serious sitcom, never mind whipping one up for a comp, and I'll be damned if I have to read a ton of quickly written scripts.

So instead of writing an entire episode, I'll ask you all to write a synopsis and a few scenes, and whatever else is needed to get an idea of what it's about.

The voting will be based upon how good it is and if you the voter wants to read more, ect.

The winners could then write a full episode and in the next round have a chance at winning a real prize!!

So just to let me know I'm not wasting my time by thinking about this any longer, anyone else interested in taking part?

I'm not drunk, honest, it's just the power of boredom.

What the f**k? Why do I keep doing these things? I can barely do the sketch comp each week never mind doing another much harder one.

I think I'm distracting myself from getting down and doing some proper writing.

Can I request this thread be deleted and never spoke of again.

And also can I be banned from arranging projects in the future.

The Big Collaboration - something I arranged on another forum, which I quickly got bored of and passed it to someone else.

The Sitcom Project - Couldn't handle it so passed it to Gavin.

The Sketch Competition - Well it's going ok I suppose, although I was going to give up a few weeks ago.

The Sitcom Competition - Gave up after a few hours.

My own sitcom - Having serious doubts about it, oh f**k it, DELETE, DELETE, DELETE!!

My career as a professional comedy writer - Right I'll write some comedy... oh look a Butterfly....
