Just watched an episode of Lucky Louie, which was strange to watch after watching Louie. It took a while to get used to the studio audience and it's surreal to hear swearing in a US studio based sitcom. But once it got rolling it was quite a good show and you can really hear his voice in it, a kind of anti-sitcom.
Finally caught up with this last night and watched most of season 1,loved it.
I am so happy this is on UK TV at last. I spent four minutes whilst Sky ads were on laughing at the final scene in part one.
I think there is nothing funnier than this show on TV at present,if ever.
Looks like I will be keeping my Sky subscription for a while.
(Posting here is like a test in school. Hope my grammar and spelling are at the required standard)
Where is it shown? I f**king love him. I can't believe I shrugged him off the first time I watched this. It's brilliant, funny and poignant.
"Wave to me" - "Wait for you?"
Unfortunately its only available on Sky. It's on the rebranded 'Fox' channel 9pm on tuesdays

This has to be the most pedantic forum ever! The guy asked what channel it was being broadcast on.
...and I was merely providing another option for the people that don't have Sky. Don't be so touchy.
Totally demented opening sequence with the Bin-men in the first episode of series 4, on Fox last week. Worth catching that bit alone.
This really is just a great show. I gave up watching it after I watched through season 1... There were some episodes that were just too dark for me. I watched the two season 4 openers though and really enjoyed them so I've gone back and watched through season 2 now.
Great comedy.
I know it's not good form to slag off child performers, but the girl who plays Louie's youngest just can't act, the older girl I have no issues with, but Louie just keeps giving her too much to do that she isn't capable of . . . unless Louie wants us to think of her as a wee brat that could do with a good shaking (which screen Louie obviously wants to do himself) . . . (note I do not condone the shaking children).
I actually disagree! I think for such a young actress, she's very good. She's quite annoying but I suppose little girls are quite annoying. I often laugh at scenes with her in.
I think the break between season 3-4 did Louie some good. The show now feels a bit more revitalised and special. Season 3 was fine but just felt a bit samey.
I love the way New York comics e.g Jim Norton, Bob Kelly randomly show up.

I stand corrected . . . the last episode which spotlighted her ending in the violin points towards her being a good wee actress playing a sh*tty wee brat that needs a good shaking (I still do not condone the shaking of children (sh*tty wee brats included)).
