British Comedy Guide

Hello there

Hi, I'm Sean Prower and I'm writing a sitcom with a friend at the moment and I am interested in writing some reviews for the latest comedy programmes. I also have a request to ask. If you are a fan of the channel 4 sketch show Smack The Pony and want to see the complete series on DVD, go to www.petitionspot.com and sign up. If you do could you please tell your friends and get them to tell their frineds etc as I would be very grateful.

Thanks

Sean Prower

Hi Sean & welcome to the forum!

Have fun:D

Welcome Sean.

Is STP not available yet? I'll sign.

Thanks for making me feel welcome and thanks for signing.

Hello and welcome to the site, enjoy, and stay aboot the place for a while, look forward to chatting with you.

I did sign but it's one of those b*st*rd sites you can't escape from.

Finally dug my way out though after half an hour.

Hi Sean welocme to the site.

After Live Aid, Global Warming and the Anti War Rally, finally a cause I can get excited about. STP was brilliant, no crap sketches and finally prooving women are more funny than men (although I already knew that).

If you want some feedback on your sitcom you can put up some sections in the Critique forum, where the criticism is very constructive (on most occassions).

welcome Sean!

Sorry about the website, it should be better during the week and my writing partner and I are still adjusting to the sitcom so it's not fully ready yet though we might put some sections up when we think it is good enough.

Hi Sean, welcome. I have signed as you asked

Hey Sean!! Welcome!

Loved Smack the Pony. Well funny!

Recently saw the blonde one (who was also in Bridget Jones who i think is called Sally Phillips) in one of the funniest/worst Aussie films ever about a boy group (think it was called boytown) that make a come back. Very odd...and i really didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

Thanks again for signing. It's good to see that STP is so popular. I heard that Sally Phillips was in this film but didn't know what the reviews were like. Most programmes she has been in were usually successful.

Salutations Sean.

I couldn't see the petition anywhere, so I didn't sign. Hello.

What was Sally Phillips comedy drama called? Was it "Rescue Me?"

I enjoyed that but I think half of it is in her face. She is so expressive.
