Shooting Stars - Series 7 Page 14

Yes, but that wasn't a fat joke. He wouldn't be that mean.

Does Angelos do standup? I'm sure I heard someone (perhaps Matt Glynis Stott) say that they'd seen him. Is he any good on his own?

Yes, saw him at Latitude. Was very good. :)

I think totty content has been poor the last two episodes. I'd like to see a return to younger, slimmer models.

I rather liked Penny Smith or whoever she was.

I agree. Better totty for the next ep. How many are left?

^Only one unfortunately!

It was ace. I loved the puppet. Although I've suddenly forgotten his name...

Walter Hottle Bottle

Thank yooooou!!

Love him.
Reminded me a bit of Morrissey the Consumer Monkey. I miss him.

Walter Hottle Bottle

I remember that name from somewhere years ago but I don't know where. Some old book from the 1960s I think.

Penny Smith was what you watched GMTV for. Although she can't sing for toffee.

Ooh.

I wonder if they paid royalties for using the character.

Penny Smith was suprisingly decent on the Shooting Stars because for once she didn't try to be funny. It's when the contestants try to be funny that it goes a bit Pete Tong, like with that Lovejoy character.

I thought Alex was a disaster, spoiling Vic and Bob's gags, and contributing nothing. He should take note from Jack Dee, who is after all a top comedian, and who nonetheless had the decency to play the straight man.

Alex Reid clearly can't take a joke...

Tart.

"A show insider..." Mmm. Not exactly conclusive proof.

Yes, that could easily all be bollocks. It is quite believable though.
