Blur or Oasis?
Nirvana or Pearl Jam?
Did Denis Leary rip off Bill Hicks?

'90s thread
Blur
Nirvana
Don't reeeeally care all that much. I did like Denis though.
Ha, I watched that again last night. I think Mr White shot off two bullets, the second of which got Eddie. (After Eddie shot him).
Oasis
Nirvana
Yes. Absolutely. And in a hugely second-rate way.
And don't know what you're on about!
Meh.
Meh.
Dunno.
What?
Oasis
Pearl Jam
Don't care.
Mr White.
I'm not a massive fan of Indie music, but come on, Blur were much better than Oasis. With Blur, you never really knew what their next song was going to sound like, whereas with Oasis, you knew exactly what you were in for every time, and it got boring really fast.
Nirvana
Yes
Nice Guy Eddie? Was that the thing with Ricky Tomlinson? If so, I didn't watch it, but I do know that a girl from my school played one of his daughters.
Edit: I've just been told that last one was a Reservoir Dogs reference.
We've had revivals of all eras up to the 80s, so it's strange that there hasn't yet been a revival of the 90s. But what fashions are stereotypically 90s?
Gorky's Zygotic Mynci.
Eldorado.

Is it? Really? Have you seen the 1990s? Christ.

I'm not sure the seventies and eighties looked any better.

Correct. But - I heard someone say on TV recently - 70s and 80s fashions were ugly but had ideas and principles behind them. In the 1990s, there was no reasoning.
I mean, f**k, have you seen Four Weddings And A Funeral?
