Roy Clarke Page 2

I know the ratings on all channels have fell (well spread out at least) but even in the last couple of years the viewing figures have dropped off on it. I think it's a bit sad that it has to end but can see some sense in letting it go before it ends up at 2 million or worse.

If you managed to get 21 million viewers today you would probably be given a knighthood :D

Was it a Gold Blend ad?

Just got that! Laughing out loud I don't really look anything like him.

Grr. You secretive scamp.

Was it 'Enders? It was 'Enders wasn't it?

I don't think even EastEnders has had that many vewers since the '80s.

And Marc P's not *that* old...

True about the old - it was the ep that sailed EE into the new millenium.

Now, Roy Clarke...

He should write an autobiography.

I like how unprecious he is. Judging by interviews with him, he genuinely doesn't seem to give two hoots what the producer and director does with his stuff after he's written it.

Does anyone have any interviews with him? I've never read any before.
