The dream/one year later thing, you mean?

No, no I didn't.

The dream/one year later thing, you mean?

Yes. I did find it a bit confusing at first but I think I figured it out.

Ok, normally I don't like to bump a thread when everyone else has clearly lost interest, but for this I'll make an exception:

Just watched this again and laughed out loud anew at all the gags and nuances I'd missed in the more narrative driven first pass, most especially from the small, furry giggle factory that is Marion - that's proper laugh out loud rather than Radio 4 'laugh out loud' which is correctly termed 'laugh on cue'.

Have to say this was a stunning finale after a very slight dip in the last few eps (penned by Danny Peak this time).

Honestly, truly, sincerely, I cannot understand how beings who are unfortunate enough to share so much DNA with me don't feel that this is the freshest, funniest stuff on TV in an age.

Maybe it's because it was so long in gestation - or maybe because it's a breakthrough project for so many involved rather than the flaccid vanity project a 'star' gets given when he/she has already used up all his/her creative juices getting famous, but anyway it feels a bit like July 2001 when The Office opened to deafening silence and I fondly imagined that I was the only person that had appreciated it and that me 'n Rick would surely be best buds before the year was out.

Oh God! ... I'm the 'end of thread' ranter, aren't I? - The drunk bloke left in the online kitchen saying 'where's everyone gone?' when the hosts/moderators just want to get to bed.

Dammit!

Haha!

I haven't watched any of the episodes twice yet, but I can definitely imagine spotting a bunch of things I missed the first time around.
It has some truly hilarious lines that are often delivered very casually and you do almost miss them.

You saved me!

You are a kind and considerate host/moderator.

But I advise you never to invite me to your parties.

We don't do "parties".

And I agree - there were lots of layers, lots of little cutaways and off-the-cuff remarks that I can imagine would be easy to miss. I'll rewatch the series at some point and no doubt spot a load I didn't notice first time.

Dan Tetsell has just done this video - turns out it was Marion that was put in that bin.

Sorry, I see this thread has died already, but, I need an answer. In "Mongrels Uncovered", 1:10, to at least 1:15, there's a track playing, which the narrator then talks over. What song is it??

I've had it stuck in my head for ages! I have no idea which band it is. Please help! :D

Not a clue, I'm afraid. Pity that there aren't any lyrics to it. Is it used anywhere else in the programme?

No, I don't think so. I've looked online everywhere for a tracklisting for the show, or some credits for the music, nothing! Thanks for your help though :)

I've just spotted a continuity error in the third episode. About 8 minutes and 10 seconds in when they show the pub, it is under a different name. While the pub is normally called "The Lord Nelson", for a brief moment it is called "The Royal Standard".

Ha! So it does! Very well spotted.

Thanks - I was just watching the commentary and there it was.
