I'm surprised so many people are liking this, I could never get into it and I watched every episode.
It did make me laugh occasionally but I always found myself waiting for it to finish.

I'd just like to point out that there are still 2 more episodes of Mongrels to come in this series.

Awesome. Are these puppet things cheaper to produce or something? You'd think the opposite, what with having to hire two people to play each character.
Well there isn't the same cost in make up, I imagine. I'd also guess that costs are quite a bit less for voice actors over those having to appear. Considering such, I would expect that for this kind of show the real cost is in the initial set-up and development; once the sets are built and props made, there's little extra cost, so they'll get as many episodes as they can from that outlay.
I am really enjoying this show. I particularly like the addition of the musical number each week. Nelson is just adorable and I love Marion, but why call the tomcat Marion and what nationality is he? Am I missing some cat joke here?
Oh Thank God! I thought it was just me that was nuts for this programme - I was beginning to feel so alone for a moment there.
Any votes on top moment so far?
Vince's Chicken Song and Nelson's 'low ranking male' squeaking have to be up there, but for me, it's Marion's monologue that opens ep. 1. Fantastic. I'm pretty sure I can recite it from memory already.
Best Jeremy Beadle joke EVER.
Great episode.
Best song has to be "F**k The Chickens".
Best moment has to be Destinys line at the dog dancing clas.
"Most people get to fly a plane into a building before they're surrounded by this many virgins."
To answer Mannakin Birds post about Marion, this should answer a few questions. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1WoNYMm9Ovw

Oh thank you for that, I get it now, he's a persian cat. I love his accent even if it is a bit random.
For those interested, BBC Three are showing a special "Making Of" episode called "Mongrels Uncovered". However, for some unexplained reason it is begin broadcast early Wednesday morning - 02.15 on 11th August.
Watched the repeat of the most recent ep- I really really enjoyed it. Never get bored of Jeremy Beadle jokes, and thought the song about being middle class was jolly good fun.
The "Mongrels Uncovered" behind-the-scenes episodes can be watched now on the BBC Three blog.

Did anyone else find the end to the last episode confusing?
What about it confused you?
