Pringles? 8.37am? Goodness lordy!

That's better. :)

I actually live in a test market area for new flavours of Pringles. We are always getting strange new kinds to try out before everyone else.

Woww!
It's like a fantasy world...

Well, I wouldn't go that far...but it is a nice area to live in.

That is pretty cool!

Where is this magical place?

Did you test any real weird/awful ones do tell?

And are you not worried about becoming the Erin Brokovitch/Karen Silkwood of the salted snack world?

Let's see, we ended up buying and trying the multi-grain and multi-grain ranch, both equally horrible. My kids liked the pizza flavoured when they first tested them here (they keep bringing back new versions of pizza).

I don't know if you all are familiar with Pop Tarts, but we also get stuck with the new varieties of those. The worst? Watermelon splash (no idea what the splash part is supposed to taste like), key lime pie, cookie dough (eew!) and some milkshaky thing that just tasted like sour milk.

Oh, I live in the Finger Lakes region in New York state (western NY).

Oh, cookie dough sounds like it should have been yummy.
Silly Pop Tart makers.

It wasn't. It was just the taste of raw dough that had gone bad. My understanding is that the cookie dough flavour is much better now, but alas we will not try it, due to the emotional scarring (they made Connor throw up).

Yikes!

But he throws up easy. He'll see someone with snot running out of their nose and he'll lose it.

I grew up in Indianapolis and it was a similar situation. We actually had the very first Pringles (early 70s?) before they were available anywhere else. I remember bringing a few cans to Florida when we moved and people were stunned by the new potato chip technology.

We also participated in some sort of ice cream packaging test. We got 2 free half-gallons every week in different packaging and had to fill out a questionnaire about our likes/dislikes about each container.
