I've just noticed that the deadline for this on the writers' room site is 9th June whereas on the 4 Talent site it's 18th June.
Does anyone know if there's been a deadline change?

It was always 9th June as far as I was aware. This 18th June is news to me!

Looks like they must have changed it...which is good news for lazy people like me who hadn't got their shit together yet...but bad news for anyone who rushed to make the 9th.
Yep, just checked at 4 Talent, and the deadline has moved back. I was planning on finishing off my pitch tonight, and had taken the morning off work tomorrow to polish it up. Now I can go back to my usual Monday night plan of getting pissed on my own, and my usual Tuesday morning plan of wanking in the work toilets. result.
Just to confirm that, I've just got an out of office auto reply back from them with the following appended:
** If you are emailing about Coming up 2011 please note that the closing date has been extended to Friday 18th June 2010 **
So, happy drinking, lazing and ... and so on.
Good post Mikey. Just spotted this. Bit late for me probably... but I think I'm going to make own half hour film or so this year. Its getting the actors on the North Norfolk COast that isn't so easy lol.

To enter this, I looked at my massive portfolio (that's not a euphemism!) of scripts, but thought "B*gger. Nothing suitable."
Then I browsed my textfile of "Future Ideas" and found myself a storyline to use.
With the deadline extended, I can rest assured that my entry (posted yesterday, first class) will reach them on time now. lol. Hopefully.
Slightly annoyed that they've pushed back the date because I rushed out an idea on Sunday and posted it yesterday. If I'd have known I could have put more time into it. Ah well, let's just see how it goes.

I was trying to rush one out, a script that is, for the original deadline but was having problems getting my story right or as some may call it, good. So I had given up but I will try and knock it out again, a script that is.
I wanted to take my time in perfecting my script but as it turns out I like procrastinating too much so now I'm once again in a rush.
