You`ll knock `em dead!

Go on. I dare you!

I would - but I'm not sure that I can do the mental images justice. Laughing out loud

I`m sure you could!

Let`s Aaron off the hook,(the one on my right hand), `coz girlie pirates are really the good guys I mean girlies.

Charley was going to buy a parrot, but decided she would rather have a cockatoo, but I expect she would give it a stiff talking too if she had one

I'm not sure whether I'm cringing at the joke, or the mental images there.

From the sound of things Charley`s parrot/cockatoo would have a great vocab!

You have to be a bit careful with parrots though, `coz they can attach themselves to someone and see them as a partner for life & boy can they sulk! Perhaps it was just mine.

Are you still having those mental images?

They've gone away for now, thank God.

From the look on Carol`s face, it certainly looks like it!

I'm sure Charley has had a Cockatoo...or maybe even three.

Good God, it`s a small world.

I`ve had a parrot & a cockatoo and they were both called Charlie!

aww wow! Do you have a thing for animals called Charlie? and I wonder why Charley has a *cock*atoo instead of a parrot!

It just happened that way. They`d both been hand reared from eggs, (not by me) and where already named. I like the name anyway & it`s easy for them to get the sound out.

Try saying "Hello Charlie" using the back of the throat & tongue without moving the mouth - it works, honest!

ah your signature, Jude! I think you founded the entire Girlie Pirates!

Laughing out loud

doesn't it overwhelm the East Midlands a bit? the founder of a female pirate brigade swaning about like Mr Sparrow?
