Isn't he a Barbarian anymore?

I like Conan O'Brien
Didn't he used to write for the Simpsons.

Didin't he also take over the tonight show?
Oh no Jay Lenos back, my mistake.

Yep, he was a writer for the Simpsons in the early days. Back when the show was consistently good.

I Love Conan, hes done some classic Simpsons (Monorail, Homer goes to collge) and his tonight show is brilliant. He just brought out a film 'Cant Stop' its my favourite comedy film ever (or equal to Spinal Tap).

There's a 'hidden' commentary track on the Simpsons S5 DVD with Conan talking about writing the Monorail episode, it's really interesting and very funny.

That sounds so great, I have heard the monorail commentary without him but now I'm going to check that out right now! Thanks

I found it one the Season 4 boxset, such a funny guy, thanks for tip off.

Has anyone seen the Conan O'Brien Can't Stop documentary?

I used to watch Conan every night when he was on CNBC Europe. His Late Night show that he did up until 2009 was truly brilliant. No one that I knew watched him, so I felt like the only Conan fan in the country.

Jay Leno should be shot in the chin for what he did to him.

Didn't know it existed, any good?

I just finished watching it, absolutely amazing. It's basically a tour documentary with little cameos from everyone from Jon Hamm to Jon Stewart and from Jack McBrayer to Jack White. Thoroughly recommend it to anyone with even a passing interest in Conan.

Thanks for the heads up, will acquire this immediately. ;)

Conan Cant Stop documentary is fantastic, literally the funniest thing I have seen, I recommend anyone to go watch it. I was luckliy enough to also have seen him on that tour live in New York.

I watched the Conan documentary, it was great viewing and very honest. Conan came off as a bit of a twat on a good few occasions i.e constantly undermining his PA and being a bit rude to his staff. I know some of it was said in good humour but as he said (paraphrasing)"I make jokes out of things that annoy me, so the person knows even though I deliver it in funny way, I'm serious and they get the message" everyone seemed a bit scared of him, especially when he'd talk over them and try to be the centre of attention.

I suppose he was under a lot of pressure at the time so he can't be judged too harshly just on this.
