This ones for the Aussie market maybe. Got to be here to appreciate their love of fishing.
An advert maybe.
day time, Australia, Aussie in fishing hat and waders on an outback river bank, the wide brown river stretched out ahead he's fishing happily and talking to his mate from whose viewpoint we see all this. Like he's holding a video camera.
Man off camera - strewth mate, looks like you've got me a bite'
fisherman turns his attention from his mate to the river and starts to wind his reel in but then has to pull hard as it's obviously bigger than he's expecting.
Fisher man - 'woooh, she's a biggy'
dramatic struggling with the rod, it's up and down, pulling him off balance but he's just about in control, he's fighting something big, all off a sudden the line tightens and the reel starts to run out fast, he leans back expecting the pull as the line runs out. The line runs out and with a huge jolt both of his arms are ripped of at the shoulder and fly through the air still holding the rod, his black and red checked hillbilly shirt sleeves still intact on the detached arms, they land in the water and are carried off into the distance by whatever's on the other end of the line.
The man off camera runs with the camera up to the fisherman and closes in on his shocked face and armless torso. The fisherman is still looking out to the river as if watching his arms dissapear.
Man off camera - 'crickey mate, are you alright'
Fisher man turns his view from the river to the camera, his expression changes from shock to grief and dissapointment)-
Fisherman - 'Not really mate...... that was a new rod!
Maybe a voice over for an advert at the end, 'if your fishing gear means this much to you, get down to tackle world'
