Three brief arcs early on,series 3 2-parter where the trio went to Scarborough, series 5,2 episodes revolving around Foggy wanting to erect a flag on a hill, and another 2-parter in same series about Compo wanting to fly

I never thought I'd see the words "story arc" in relation to the meandering mess that this show became in the last ten years or so...
