I think he was saying that you were like a kid who won a comp to do a bit of presenting on Blue Peter not a Blue Presenter itself. which is maybe a tad harsh. But getting a job presenting on Blue Peter is extremely hard. It's a highly regarded role with major repercussions on someone's career. If you do want to get into presenting you will have to up your ante big time. But you know this. It's all down to work.

I will try and find a demonstration of how to nail it which will be very useful to you and post a link. Might take half an hour, so make yourself a cup of coffee and a sandwich with a filling of your choice.
