Very clever funny and a nice bit of internal logic

Rather than explaining he'd got his job what about showing it? Maybe it could be mentioned and signposted when we see David getting sacked and then as soon as Murali says where/what his new job is, we get the laugh there?
This could be done completely silently and may be better for it?
It could extended into a silent 5-7 minute film.
Me likey. Could you allude to the thought process by showing some of the other Hare Krishnas? Could they display clues to their previous professions?

Nice idea.
Thanks all, I appreciate the comments.
The idea started its life as a short film, originally David dedicates his time to following the religion but then he finds out everyone else is just doing it as something to do in their lunch hour, Murali is a hairdresser and just does it to let his hair down.
I was uncertain of having David seem to make the leap instantly that Murali has taken his job and had thought about putting an Atkinson & Atkinson sign in the office when he resigns, so I might do that instead.
Cheers.

Yeah, it's a nice idea (from Sooty and yourself) but I wouldn't know where it could slot in if it were silent. Mind you it's not as if anything is going anywhere anyway.

That almost sounds like a new idea in itself! I do like it, but would worry that the sketch would then lose its focus a touch.

That could work too but I meant that they would only back up the idea that are all caught in a chain of 'one in, one out' in the same kind of job. This make make even less sense, but I've tried.
Yeah, I getcha. I'll have a think, thanks for the suggestion.
