A couple of quick ones

INT. ROOM - DAY

A plain room with a flag on the far wall with some Arabic text on it. Three armed men in balaclavas stand around a blindfolded man tied to a chair.

One of the armed men takes out a machete. He says something to the camera in Arabic and then starts sawing at the neck of the tied up man.

The man screams as the armed man cuts through his neck.

After some sawing, the armed man drops the knife and twists the head. It snaps off. Coloured tubes spring out of the neck hole. The men jump back in surprise.

INT. ROOM - DAY

A Viking raises his sword.

VIKING
CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGE!

Cut to. The Viking is stood over a mobile phone plugged into the charger.

VIKING
(Impatient)
I've got to go!

When you say coloured tubes, do you mean like these snakes in a tin?

The set-up is probably too dark for anyone to make it, but I'm sure it would get some laughs if anyone were brave enough to.

The second one is ok, titterable.

Yup they're the ones.

The second one is just a bit of silliness so a titter is good enough

The Viking one could be a runner - either with the man being dressed in different period costumes (perhaps he's a stripper! Or a re-enactment enthusiast) - or with the Viking in various modern situations (bus queue, call centre, Jeremy Kyle show)

e.g.

VIKING: CHAAARGE!!!!!!

BUS DRIVER: That's right, there's a charge. It's one-ninety.

Chris, I absolutely love the first sketch. So so wonderful! I'm not particularly keen on the second sketch, but it's a neat idea. As for the first sketch, Giggle-O is right; however, remember the likes of Jam... sketches that dark, and worse, can and do get made (sometimes!)

Absolutely agree with M Paterson, too; the second sketch was made for running. Have it as a viking a bunch of times, sometimes it's not a viking, and the scenario is different every time. The possibilities are pretty much endless. I've just thought up about five skits for that already!!

Yeah I'll definitely look into some runner sketches with the charge one.
