Brilliant. Hopefully this thread will have a knock-on effect and also revive the career of Demis Roussos.
I didn't like the Pornographer's eyes glowing red - seems too obviously demonic but everything else is sublime.

Yeh you're right I enjoyed writing it through, I think its a little to fasustean deal with the devil.
The later versions made it a bit more saucy evil so to speak.
I prefer this to No.6. It's nicely mad, not overwrought with madness.
Thanks I think the pornographer 2 was the best one. Like the grumpy executioner these aren't especially funny, but I hope they amuse by working on character, repetition and a sense of setting.
Kind of the thing I'm not so good at.
