When he was about to perform dental surgery on the 'benefit woman' I was half expecting him to send her to sleep, perform the work and then be sat back in the chair before she woke up again.

Me too.

Great Minds and all that

I've still not been able to sit through an entire episode of My Family without turning off a couple of minutes into it. Last night was no different.

Well that's silly as last night's episode was one of the better episodes in ages.

It certainly was.

I thought the show as OK before Kris Marshall left. For me, he was the only reason to watch as his character was daft but quite entertaining and at times very funny. When he left, it seems he took the humour with him.

I liked Kris Marshall as well but I do think Robert Lindsey is a very funny man as well if the script is good enough.

Just watched Wheelie Ben and thought it was a good start to the series. The series seems to be heading back to form a bit. I'm big Robert Lindsey fan so I always enjoy the show but this episode was one of the best I've seen in a while.

I thought Kenzo and his mum were surplus to the plot. He is a much better actor than her. I thought she was going to be mistaken for Ben's nurse, given what she was wearing.

A very enjoyable start to the new series; perhaps not quite up to the standards that the series has reached in the past, but certainly an indicator that it isn't necessarily past its peak. Hopefully they'll build on the quality of episode one and give us a very enjoyable series.

I thought it was better than it's been recently.

Kenzo scares me a bit! I'm glad they haven't turned him into some kind of cunning super-kid, and that his mum still outwitted him at the end.

They've/We've all made such a big thing out of the gay storyline. I bet it's not even mentioned until the last five minutes of the final episode.

He comes out in next week's episode.

Ooh, good!

Going to be interesting to see how they do it.

Wouldn't surprise me if it was just a red herring.

That wouldn't be gay though. That would be perverse.
