Dirty White Vans - New Sketch

Haven't written a sketch for a while, but this one was inspired by something I saw on holiday. Let me know what you think.

* * *

EXT. CAR PARK - DAY

A MAN WALKS THROUGH THE CAR PARK ON THE WAY TO HIS CAR. SEVERAL WHITE VANS ARE PRESENT, EACH ARE DIRTY AND HAVE 'WITTY' REMARKS WRITTEN ON THEM.

VAN #1 - "ALSO AVAILABLE IN WHITE"

THE MAN REACTS TO THIS WITH MILD AMUSEMENT.

VAN #2 - "I WISH MY WIFE WAS AS DIRTY AS THIS"

THE MAN REACTS TO THIS WITH A SCOWL OF DISAPPROVAL.

VAN #3 HAS THE WORDS "I AM A..." AND THE WORD "TWAT" HALF OBLITERATED.

THE MAN GOES OVER TO THE VAN AND INSERTS THE WORD "LAZY"

END

Nice very nice clever twist.

Thanks sootyj.

I think it's nice, but would it be better if the guy starts writing the word 'lazy' on the van and the large, hariy owner appears from the around side of the vehicle, sees the guy writing all over his paintwork and beats the crap out of him?

Having the man beaten up might drown the punchline, don't you think? The gag is that the van driver is so lazy he can't even be bothered to wash his van after someone has labelled him a twat.

I didn't get that, because to me there was no indication that it was the van driver who had obliterated 'twat'.

Nor did I, to be honest. Maybe I just didn't understand it.
