Does anybody know if and when we'll get the second series of My Name Is Earl and How I Met Your Mother in this country? I'm getting sick of waiting.

We'll probably get MNIE when Ugly Betty finishes. Also they'll probably show the IT Crowd to sometime in the summer.
Oh, Channel 4 have still got the last series of Will & Grace to show aswell i think.
On the subject of Channel 4, I read with interest that the massive slump in their profits this year might lead them to haver to cut back on their foreign acquisitions. If this happens, Channel 4 is in major trouble, since most of its best shows are imports.
Aren't imports cheaper?
My Name Is Earl's second season is scheduled for Autumn from what I've heard.
It took five long enough to show the second seasons of Joey and Everybody Hates Chris.
I've heard the same rumours about Channel 4 -- that they're apparently in deep do-do financially, which explains why their comedy output has been utter shash for the last year or so. If they lose their acquisitions like Earl I might never watch. Word was they signed Peep Show to a fifth season so they could get it relatively cheap before Mitchell and Webb demand mega-bucks (not that they ever seem to have trouble getting work!)
