Want to make 'Fawlty Towers' board game

I am thinking about making a 'Fawlty Towers' board game some time. Not to sell of course but to make and few and pass them on maybe.

Today I had a bit of a brainstorm re what the concept of the game might be. Main idea I have is getting around the hotel and out again. Progress could be made through guests positives or Basils positive or negatives.

E.g. Manuel (sp?) brings you a steak intead of an omlette - go back 2 places.

or Basil has a win on the horses go forward two spaces.

If you land on the mooses picture you could have to go back to the lobby. If you land on the fire drill square you could have to into the carpark.

Or you could do it more like a quiz with quiz questions:

How long did it take for a Fawlty towers episode to be written?

a) 3 weeks

b) 6 weeks

c) 3 months

Has anyone got any ideas for the game they'd like to share. Thanks in advance and appreciated!

What a brilliant idea, love it! I like all your suggestions and I think you could combine the quiz element, like by having a couple of 'anorak' squares - the answer btw is of course B.

My ideas for positive squares - Sybil goes into hospital; someone famous books a room; Australian totty books a room.

Negative squares - Hotel inspector arrives; chef gets drunk; American loudmouth books in; Sybil finds your betting slip; Manuel loses his hamster...

The aim of it could be to make Basil go apoplectic with rage.

And rather than the Monopoly hat, thimble, iron etc:

A Waldorf Salad
A Moose's Head
A Kipper
A Garden Gnome
A Rat

and others

The Waldorf Salad piece might be hard to get hold of tho.

Guest passes away in the night; go back to start.

You'll need a spoon to smack someone with who rolls double sixes.

"You mentioned the war. Go back three"

"One of your diners choked on a bit of cheese. Go back two"

"You touched a female guest's breast. Jump ahead ten"

The Major is found in bed with Polly, miss three goes while you watch.

'Evening Fawlty, oh, have the papers arrived?'
'Erm, no, I think you've both beaten them to it, by the looks of things.'
Walks out of room in a daze and slaps himself.

Hampshire won.

Did it ?

Advance five places.

Very good. Thank you. :D

Que?

Garden gnome inserted in rectum - go back three spaces

Kitchen door has no lintel - miss a turn to hold it up

You could even implement plot twists that didn't actually happen.

The Major shoots the hotel inspector mistaking him for a 'dirty rat'. Then have him hid in the basket with Dr Price's sausages. ;)

You landed on a drunk chef. move back with Manuel two paces
