Yes, it does appear that Phil Mickelson has been wearing his golf cap too long.

He looks a little bit scary doesn't he.
Open starts today. Might go home early and watch a bit. It's very restful.
BBC golf highlight of the day ...
Reporter (on first tee): 'I don't know anyone who wouldn't want to stand here and crack one off.'
It hasn't been that interesting so far.
Although Caseys made a good run.
I was hoping Westwood would be nearer to the lead though as I'd like to see him land one of the big ones.
The US are slightly up in the Ryder cup but rain has stalled play somewhat.
I liked that the Americans waterproofs didn't work and they had to buy new ones.

What you doin' here?
Oh, I see you've been here lots.
Served your two match ban then?
I still can't believe he didn't take Casey! And he always seems a bit stubborn to me in his decisions, Monty. Does he have the flexibility of mind to pick the right pairings when it matters? Can he be lighthearted enough not to get the players too nervy. Look at Woosnam's carefree approach as captain and how successful that was. For all Monty's passion, I wonder if he doesn't make his guys a bit uptight. They need to relax and enjoy it more, because on paper they should clearly win.
I don't have Sky and this is killing me

The reason they have the golf on a Sunday is because it's absolutely the best sport to snooze in front of the TV to, whilst taking a traditional post-roast nap.

Overton's celebration over his eagle today would have certainly woken you up!
Yeah, then he went on to lose his match, as did 4 of the other 5 yanky teams. And I was wrong about Monty being inflexible, he seems to be totally on the ball. A very astute golf brain infact.
