Shows that you remember but no one else does! Page 18

I vaguely remember a fairly latenight American TV comedy which came on as I was going to bed, called When Things Were Rotten, a Robin Hood parody. Looking it up it was a Mel Brooks effort and only lasted 13 episodes. Theme tune here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LMDunJc5KUQ

Noseybonk from Jigsaw. Terrifying. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=87NHueHBHwY&feature=related

The Pingwings.

Stop start animation involving little knitted penguins.

If I only imagine I watched this as a kid, then I really should seek help.

Wasn't that an early Oliver Postgate/Peter Firmin effort?

What was that Australian kids' show, about a blonde-haired teenage lad, that used to be on a Sunday morning, in around '89/'90? I think him and his mates were in a band, and used to practice in a garage.

I remember that. It was fairly dreadful, if I remember correctly. But entertaining.

Does anyone remember Sheriff Hoot Kloot? I think they used to show it on Going Live, in the late '80s.

I don't remember it, although I must have seen it.
Maybe I didn't like it so I turned over to watch whatever rubbish Saturday morning show was on ITV at the time when it came on.

Pugwall.

I remember watching a kids show in the late 80s/early 90s on BBC1 which centred around some boy who was in modern times, but able to go back in time to Victorian times. I can't remember how he got there - perhaps through some doorway in his house. He befriended a girl in the Victorian era and I remember they went ice skating one time - he then got her to promise that she'd leave some ice skates under floorboards in the house. He went back to modern times and found the ice skates where she'd promised to leave them. Any ideas?

The Wuzzels a kids cartoon from the 1980s.

Dr Willoughby

2point4 Children (come on what else do expect from me by now?)

Mrs Pepperpot

The Famous Five (1990s series)

Next of Kin

Ain't Misbehavin'

Health & Efficiency

I remember The Wuzzels. It got replaced by The Gummi Bears and I remember being a bit sad, but ended up enjoying The Gummi Bears anyway.

You can't remember the Wuzzels! I am the only one who does in the whole world I'm afraid.

Not seen it in years.

I'm surprised you remember it, David. I thought you were all of 22 years old at the most!

I remember being a bit sad.

I know but you can't help it.

26 and a half :(

I remember it a bit, more from the colouring in paper and crayons I used to have of it, the ones you used to get in a tube that looked like a massive tube of smarties.

I really wish I could see into the future, might be worth a bit now.

OOOOH and Teddy Ruxpin

Now you can't remember him?

I remember Teddy Ruxpin. My local shop used to have those Viewmaster toys with Teddy Ruxpin discs.

EDIT:

It was this:

You've lost me now with that one.

What about Puddle Lane?
