The Fu**ing Swear Box

INT - OFFICE - DAY

AN OFFICE FULL OF STAFF IS SIMMERING DOWN AFTER A BUSY DAY.

JOHN (not too seriously)
What a bloody day that was!

ADRIAN (cheerfully)
Aaht. Money in the swear box!

JOHN
Ha. Forgot all about that,

JOHN & ADRIAN LOOK AT A CHART ON THE WALL "SWEAR BOX CHART"

ADRIAN
That really is amazing. I can't believe Giles is going to get the swear box bonus at the end of the week

JOHN
Must be his first time he's not been top

ADRIAN
I mean, he's went from swearing like a trooper to a complete nun.

JOHN
Unbelievable.

ADRIAN
Oh, Speak of the devil.

JOHN
Looks like he's been saving.

ADRIAN
Yup

GILES IS STRIDING TOWARDS THE SWEAR BOX WITH A BAG FULL OF CHANGE.

JOHN & ADRIAN PART FROM THE SWEAR BOX ALLOWING GILES ACCESS TO IT.

GILES PROCEEDS TO TIP THE BAG OVER THE SWEAR BOX BEFORE GOING ON AN RANT OF EXPLETIVES

There's a decent idea in there. I especially liked the swear box chart/graph on the wall but the ending didn't f**king work for me personally.

Thanks Nigel.

I believe there is something very good in there and I'll find it.

I wrote this up quickly whilst in work, beforem I forgot. As I was putting more money in the swear box Pirate

What about a bit of a reversal. Office swear vouchers for sale. Stop me and f**king buy one.

I like your thinking Stephen. Very good idea there.

Swear box sketches are the future

Like the idea, is it worth having Giles look really, really f**ked off as he strides up, pouring the money in and then cutting just as he opens his mouth to swear?

Thanks mate.

I've been working on this. Will have a more polished sketch up soon.

Somebody saving up for a really big swear doesn't really cut it for me I'm afraid - it seems a bit weak. I guess I was either expecting a pay-off in how he managed not to swear or something contained in the sketch that led him to swear (although that would also have been a bit too obvious) like getting a paper cut from the graph as he boasted about how he was going to win, or tripping over the swear box or something.
