I'd be up for a meet. but not too far South, with me being a reet northern boy n'all.
A BSG Weekend Get-together. Page 2
I'd be up for saying hi in person.
The problem is finding a place to meet. Anywhere above London for Southerners (like myself) isn't particularly feasible whilst anywhere as low as London is understandably too far down for the Northern members.
I think we need to find out where we all live and not be too shy. I live in Maidstone, Kent.
Towcester, (near the dreaded Milton Keynes), Buckinghamshire
I live in North Hampshire
Maybe we could have BSG South and North divisional meetings.
London!
Manchester.
Would Brum be no good?
Being a selfish git, I'd love it if everyone came down to the Bournemouth coast. The beer is excellent and it's a great place. But then again, I would say that wouldn't I.
So moving right along, how about nominating Leeds, Manchester and Birmingham - why Birmingham? Because it's there - and then take a vote. All we have to do after that is find cheap rate accommodation, make a time for later in the year and stop the Welsh contingent from finding reasons not to be there.
On the other hand this whole thing might just not happen but at least it's a suggestion, God damn it.
Even though I live on the coast, I never visit the beach. It'll be cool to sit outside a pub on a sunny day, eating fish 'n chips, in fact, I think I'll do that right now...
I just thought Birmingham is as central as we can get and its easy to get to. Although I'll go anywhere if we agree on it.
Except Liverpool.
I guess Manchester / Birmingham are pretty good suggestions - whatever happens I'll have a bloody long journey from Aberdeen but if the date is OK would come along - apparently you English have electricity now and everything.
Just make sure that Charley doesn't get my room number - rumour has it she likes a bit of 'Scottish' and she scares me.

The electricity is fine... most of the time. But we do need to re-stock on deep-fried Mars Bars, so if you could oblige...
Birmingham is a no-brainer for me since it's only about an hour away.

The 'Haven' chip shop in Stonehaven (15 miles South of Aberdeen and where I grew up) is actually the birth place of this very item.
Oh how proud that makes me feel.
HINT: Do it with a Snickers - much nicer.
So it is nice then? I mean it looks disgusting, but I'll eat anything, just ask Charley.
