I know what you mean, but sometimes you have to. It's like dating. I only sent copyrighted stuff anyway.

I did.

I got an email saying "no thanks" but we have another project... To be fair, we don't do topical stuff. If I can share info on the other project, I'll post details.

"Your material is not quite what we are looking for at the moment but if it's all right with you, we'd like to keep your details on file."

Hopefully that doesn't just mean "mailing list".
