What was the name of that sitcom, I think shown in the nineties and/or maybe early 2000, that had Jasper Carrot who was a builder and he married an Asian woman and adopted half their family including this really funny disabled guy who would make funny remarks via a voice box?

Nope, I'm with Stupid sort of followed on with a comedic voicebox user, but this show came first I think the Mother is currently in EastEnders and was part of the comedy show 'Goodness Gracious Me'?

It really was pretty token-y. I'm sure I'd find it cringe-inducingly PC now - but I did enjoy it at the time.
Bloody hell, you make it sound like it was ages ago. I remember it being a bit politcally correct, but to be honest never saw much of it.
Apart from Jasper and the EastEnders woman, that older boy standing to the right of Jasper looks familar. I am sure he is in something else on TV. Any ideas?
