There are websites that help you ID mushrooms. But there are so many varieties I don't trust myself to follow the guides well enough. I'll stick to the supermarket mushrooms.
Yeah, there are books and all sorts, but I just wouldn't trust 'em.

I read that as 'fannies'.
That mushroom looks a lot like a field mushroom, very tasty. Difficult to be certain from your photo, though. You have to go by the gills.
