Funnily enough I had something very similar last night. It's a local delicacy called a "Parmesan" or "Parmo". It's basically a big hunk of flattened chicken or pork, dipped in breadcrumbs, deep-fried, then smothered in thick bechamel sauce and several tons of melted cheese. For extra badness I had extra pepperoni and garlic sauce. I'm doing my penance today, so far I've had an apple and a glass of mineral water.
