Sitcoms set in the past, or the future.

Which sitcoms have been set in the past, or the future? I can think of Goodnight Sweetheart, Red Dwarf, and Come Back Mrs. Noah.

Of course, all old sitcoms appear to be set in the past, to our eyes.

Blackadder.

Hi-de-Hi!

Dads Army, Chelmsford 123, Hyperdrive

It Ain't Half Hot Mum.

Yeah, but can you think of any sitcoms set in the past/future?

You Rang M'Lord.

Not so many in the future but I seem remember George Cole as Comrade Dad as a dedicated communist in a future Britain run by the Soviets. He was none to keen on President Sinatra.

Dark Ages, Captain Butler, 'Allo 'Allo!, Which Way To The War.

I think that that was an alternative present rather than a future setting.

High & Dry.

Then Churchill Said To Me, Whoops Baghdad, Up Pompeii!.

Kröd Mändoon and the Flaming Sword of Fire.

Clarence, In Loving Memory.

I vaguely recall something called Woodcock set on an old sailing ship.

Most/all of Ripping Yarns.

Haggard.

What was the Channel4 pilot called which was like Friends (but funny) and set in the 19th century?

Let Them Eat Cake or whatever it was called.

Hippies.
