Diamond Geezer

What does everyone think of this comedy-drama?

Personally, I think it's just all right.

It's nice to think that Jason and Lyndhurst are still doing their own shows. Ten years ago it was Frost and Goodnight Sweetheart - now it's Diamond Geezer and After You've Gone. I think both of there current vehicles have something in common, though: They're both very formulaic, middle of the road and won't offend anyone. And they're both not that good. But I suppose they're entertaining enough at times.

Can't say I've heard of it. ITV?

I really enjoyed Diamond Geezer. It was just a bit of fun, light entertainment.
It never would have worked without David Jason though. He made the programme. Perfect casting.

I believe last night's was the last one ever.

OMG!! Rustle T Davies, I so want to do the new Dr Who. Did you get how that last sentence rhymed. OMG!! It was so meant to be. Me & Dr Who doing it against a tree.

Anyhoo, I have come now so back to the main point. I lurve David Jason, but I watched 5 mins of this, got bored tried 5 mins more, was near death and gave it 5 whole more mins. Quite Shite. I had more fun biting the toenails of my best friends dad and he is a Yeti....

I sw the first one which I think was on at Christmas or something when he did the perfect crime - because he was in the nick at the time so had the perfect alibi. I enjoyed it but haven't seen any of this lot cos it clashed with New Tricks (Amanda Redman in a wet suit - no contest).

They're bound to be repeated over and over though cos it's DJ.

Really? Oh right. Where did you get that info from? And if he's quit Frost too, then he doesn't have a vehicle anymore, (better use the three wheller, then!) :)

I'm not sure Dave. I read so many websites. Don't hold me to it, but I did read it somewhere on t'internet.

I've just got Diamond Geezer Series 1 on DVD for just £9.99 - bargain!

I was surprised to see it mentioned here as I wouldn't really call it a comedy, more a drama that has some humour in it.

;)

Yeah but we do touch on Comedy Drama too a lot here.

MOST of us are quite friendly - and some are TOO friendly. But it is a good waste of time - and you also pick up some tips too if you want to write.

Charle, mainly. Seriously, wii_man76, if you stand still too long, she'll have your cock out before you can blink.
